**He aha te mahi? What's the role?**
Reporting to the Logistics Operations Support Lead, the Packhouse Officer is responsible for the supervision of the 3PL packhouse operations in Zeebrugge. The purpose of the role is to ensure activities are performed to deliver the world’s best kiwifruit every day in the most efficient way we can.
**Key responsibilities include**
- Overall monitoring and control of the day-to-day 3PL packhouse operations and costing to ensure all activities are performed as per defined agreements and specifications.
- Monitor daily production to measure production efficiency versus agreed targets.
- In depth analyses of any issues occurring in the packhouse to understand the root cause, discuss with all involved parties (3PL and internal stakeholders) and ensure actions are being taken to solve the issues and avoid re-occurrence in the future.
- Monitor fruit loss on a daily basis, analyse and compare data with inherent quality attributes of the fruit being packed to be able to justify or question the numbers.
- In conjunction with 3PL and internal stakeholders, take the lead to review and challenge current processes & ways of working in the packhouse to improve the cost efficiency and service level.
- Consolidate and prepare data, lead the weekly Packhouse Operations review meetings with the 3PL.
- Close collaboration with the Production Scheduler (IBP team) to take care of alignment between planning and execution of the packing activities.
- Drive performance and maintenance of the various (re-)packing lines.
- Focus on performance and productivity optimization as well as standardization.
- Understand and use the company’s IT software and guard and create material master data.
- Improve our business for the long-term: work with and provide general support for the team.

You will also have:
- A good communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- An experience in managing many stakeholders.
- A strong team player "mindset" and the capability to be able to work autonomously.
- An excellent command of Dutch & English.
- A valid driving license.
- A Master or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent by experience.

Pay: €55.000,00 - €75.000,00 per year
