**Your opportunity**
For our ambitious, fast growing team in** Belgium / **Amsterdam,** we are looking for a **Strategic Buyer Belgium Market.** Working in the Procurement team, you will ensure the quality of both our ingredients and our supplier base. You will be working on improving the customer experience of our Belgian customers, by playing a key role in getting new ingredients and new suppliers on board that have the capacity, the right price, and the right quality we as HelloFresh want to deliver to our customers.
You'll be working on:
- Finding new Belgian suppliers and ingredients to cater to the developing need of our customers;
- Improving the customer experience for our Belgian customers;
- Negotiating the right deal for HelloFresh;
- Working closely with suppliers to make sure we have a strong long-term partnership;
- Working with suppliers to ensure on-time, on-spec deliveries or discuss shortages/missed deliveries;
- Working with stakeholders in the supply chain to increase efficiency, decrease costs and time spent on the process,
- Be comfortable in making split-second decisions with far reaching consequences;
- Assist with cost reporting and invoice validation;
- Reporting progress to our internal stakeholders in Amsterdam and in Berlin;
- Solve problems on-the-go in a fast-paced environment.
**What you'll bring to the team**
- A minimum of 4 years in Procurement/Category Management, experience in FMCG is a big plus;
- Strong commercial and analytical skills. You're always focused on getting the best deal for HelloFresh.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects. As a strong communicator, you know how to set up and finish projects successfully, and how to create support with stakeholders.
- You are full of ideas and act as a sparring partner on the topic of supply chain improvement, category management, negotiations, etc.
- A quantitative and analytical mindset and know how to use data as the basis of your decisions.
- You don't shy away from a challenge and are able to perform in a fast-paced and continuously changing work environment.
- You're pro-active, ambitious, and make things happen.
- Fluent in English and Dutch, French is a plus;
- Strong understanding of suppliers and network within Belgium
- Masters's Degree.
