- As a HSE Head you will lead the development and implementation of a harmonized Global Operating Procedure for the reporting and critical issue of all Novartis HSE topics at Puurs.
- You will drive the implementation of the strategic plans and initiatives, this includes strengthening the operational aspect of this function to supervise the daily operation within the Manufacturing Unit ‘Compounding’, in a way that is consistent with a culture of self-direction (empowerment and accountability)
- Your responsibilities:
- Ensure business alignment on the global standards and strategic direction related to health management
- Implement and drive strategic programs in its area of expertise and ensure efficient, sustainable, and compliant solutions
- Leads the HSE function in a small/medium country or mono platform site, ensuring site compliance with Novartis HSE documents and legal requirements
- Build a positive relationship with the business and establishing effective governance mechanisms to promote collaboration and service efficiency.
- Establish and maintain a strong communication network between complete site
- Act as strategic lead in his scope, collect and verify the site/country HSE data provided to the global HSE team.
- Strong management of the risk portfolio, Ensure timely reporting and critical issue of incidents at site level and right quality CAPA implementation at site level
- Lead root cause investigations and lessons learned sharing of incidents at site level
- Supervise the HSE regulatory requirement climate, respective trends and determine associated applicability to Novartis businesses, facilities and products
- Role model a leadership style: inclusive, proactive, respectful, change agile, innovation/creativity & results driven with strong customer service focus

**Minimum requirements**
- What you’ll bring to the role:
- Master's degree
- Prevention Advisor Level 1
- Proven experience within HSE in an industrial environment.
- strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder ship skills
