Pricing and Market Access (P&MA) are key to maximising the value of our products for patients, healthcare systems and for the company. In order to further strengthen our capability in this critical function, we have centralized global P&MA for all product areas under a single senior leader, and we are now recruiting for the P&MA Head for Vaccines, to complement the Heads of P&MA for Oncology, Specialty Care and General Medicines respectively, who will bring technical and organizational expertise in strategic pricing & global market access for their assigned therapeutic areas, as well as lead their respective teams as we build our skills and capabilities consistently across the product areas.

In this VP-level leadership role reporting directly to the Head of Global Pricing & Market Access, and serving on the global P&MA leadership team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in Global Product Strategy to build a best-in-industry Global Pricing & Access team accountable for:

- Developing and delivering the pricing and access strategies required to maximise the performance of our vaccines products throughout their lifecycle.
- Engaging externally to incorporate the latest payer insights into our strategies and ensure that customers recognise the value of our vaccines.
- Driving innovative solutions at the product and portfolio level.
- Lead a team of 5-8 direct reports. Additional indirect reports are likely to be added as the structure develops in the future.

You will also partner closely with key functions in R&D, including Value Evidence & Outcomes (VEO), to secure the early input and evidence generation required to deliver competitive Target Vaccines Profiles, clinical and real-world development plans, and the delivery of reimbursable dossiers for the markets.

Strong collaboration with Medical, Regional, and local access teams as well as Global Government Affairs / Policy will be essential to further strengthen our ability to reward innovation and make our products accessible to the patients who will benefit most.

Due to the importance of tenders for vaccines, one key responsibility will be to foster a close relationship with the Tender Pricing & Operations (TPO) team who reports into the Vaccines Commercial organization.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Graduate degree in medicine, sciences, business administration, health policy, or health economics.
- Pricing and Market Access experience acquired at pharmaceutical/vaccines companies, Payer or Health Technology Assessment agencies, physician associations or relevant consultancy companies in a multi-national context.
- Market Access experience in vaccines is required.
- Experience of working in an above country role/Global team in the market access space.
- Leadership experience in Vaccines in industry (major global pharma or biotechnology organisation).
- Experience in both line management and matrix team leadership.
- Experienced in engagement with senior stakeholders (SVP/C-level).

**Preferred Qualifications**
- MSc in Health Economics.
- Considerable experience in commercial strategy and driving innovation in Specialty Care Payer/Market Access and Pricing.
- Experience in leading a diverse global team across global, regions and local affiliates.
- Appreciation for External Relations and Public Health Issues in the Specialty Care field.
- Strong network across vaccines, pharma, biotechnology, and payer bodies.
