Our **multidisciplinary team of experts** offer strategic, technical, and regulatory advice in all fields related to power transmission, as well as a range of specialist solutions to a diverse and international client base in the power sector.
Elia Grid International has offices in Belgium, Germany, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Malaysia, and Thailand.
**Your function**
EGI wishes to reinforce its team working on **Power System Operations and Security** in the context of deep integration of renewable energy sources, Energy and Balancing Market Integration. To achieve this, we are looking for **experienced professionals with expertise in the field of transmission system operation**. These experts will take part in local and international projects focusing on RES integration, security of supply, sustainability and economic efficiency of Power Systems.
Typical activities involve (but are not limited to):
- Analysis and definition of operational principles;
- Model definition and validation;
- Steady-state (load flow, short circuit calculations etc);
- Dynamic stability analysis (frequency, voltage stability..);
- Grid Code requirement and connection compliance studies
Your responsibilities will be decided based on your competencies and expertise and will be discussed during your interviews with managers.
**Your profile**
- Master's degree in Engineering or Applied Mathematics/Physics;
- 2-10 years of experience in Power System Operations and Security (balancing and RES system integration, system operation and state-of-the-art technological solutions);
- Knowledge of power system simulation tools (PowerFactory, PSSE);
- Expertise in translating complex data into key strategic insights and valuable actions;
- Fluent in English;
- Knowledge of German, Dutch and/or French is a strong asset.
