The Engineering Manager is responsible for daily leadership to a group of project engineers. The role and the team is responsible for designing and testing complex or large-scale integrated analyzer systems. The role will be located in Hach Nazareth.
**In this role, a typical day will look like**:
- Detailed analysis of the orders and quotations together with the Sales department in preparation for the kick-off meeting and manage change order process
- Responsible for the engineering, implementation, progress monitoring, timing (OTD), and budget of projects and reports the financial status and execution progress of projects
- Responsible for the total Project planning in consultation with his supervisor and the production department
- Jointly responsible for the construction in accordance with established standards and possible procedures
- End responsibility for testing the equipment during the (internal) Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and organizing FAT with the customer
- QA/QC projects and engineering procedures
**The essential requirements of the role holder include**:
- Master's degree in Electrical, Electromechanics or Chemical Engineering or qualified by experience
- Experienced in leading a team or in a technical position with excellent project management skills
- Dutch / English language - French and others are a plus
- Chemical background is a plus
- Strong ability to liaise effectively, work in team with and build bridges between other departments
- Demonstrated vision for change and continuous improvement with a strong focus on the customer and meeting customer needs
- Ability to travel internationally up to 25%
