SAP Bw Specialist

**Context**:
You will work in a team that is leading the analytics of accidents - it’s a global department whose mission is to enable inside simulation through analytics platforms (related to data analytics, such as Snowflake, Denodo, Qlik Sense, Power BI, SAP BW) and services across the company. They manage the technology platforms, the life cycles, the roadmap, projects to deliver on top of the platforms. Capabilities on data management, data processing, business intelligence, transanalytics, sticking ahead of innovation across the market.

It’s a big team of 60 people - transversal in IT. 4 direct people reporting to the team, several people spread across projects and support.

The goal - to be the technology lead in SAP BW technology platform. Owning the SAP BW as well as all reports that are running in the data flows and that are used in all the systems.

**Task / Daily activities**:

- Making sure that the platform is up-to-date (SAP BW) and compliant to the standards that need to be followed
- Building data flows and to be compliant with the best practices
- Connecting through the different teams
- Coordinating with support as well (when there is an issue or an escalation), ensuring resolution
- Close to all IT domains that are leveraging in one way or the other the platform
- Understand what is happening with the projects
- Providing guidance on how to do some things into the platform
- Debate technicalities
- Bringing SAP BQ expertise

**Competencies**:

- Hard skills: tools - SAP BW 7.5 On HANA with S4 and BW 4/HANA migration experience, Azure, Snowflake, Denodo, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Cognos Controller
