We are currently working with a client located in the region of Antwerp that is looking for a newcomer to join in their very active compliance and Regulatory team.
As part of the development of their team, our client is looking to bring on acquired experience in Safety Data Sheet management and authoring, as well as a strong chemical background and understanding (crucial to the job)
**Main missions**:
- Preparing safety data sheets for products (worldwide)
- Follow up and check on quality of products and raw materials within applicable regulatory framework (REACH, CLP/GHS)
- Preparation of labelling information for end products in accordance with CLP/GHS and ADR/IMD
- ECO labels and food compliance
- Handling requests and information about new raw materials, intermediates and formulations
- Contacting suppliers/manufacturers for additional information
- Acting as a consultant in answering (complex) regulatory questions from customers and other partners via the compliance mailbox. Provide customer support for regulatory issues
- Maintain and expand professional relationships with regulatory partners (authorities, consultants and specialists)
**Your profile**:
- Master or Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or (other relevant chemical field)
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of chemical / product notification or regulatory affairs (Knowledge of ADR is an additional Asset)
- You have a thorough knowledge of chemical substances and their backgrounds
- MS Office, SAP and possibly Lisam proficiency
- Fluent in Dutch + English
**Home office**:
Flexibility can be discussed, with a minimum of 2 days/week on site.
