Treasury Accountant

For the expansion of our Finance team, argenx is looking for a Treasury Accountant. The Treasury Accountant will be responsible for the e xecution of the operational treasury accounting activities of all argenx companies based in Europe. The Treasury Accountant will report to the Director Accounting.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Daily recording of bank statements including follow up and troubleshooting
- Matching of payments with invoices and other supporting documents
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and clearing accounts
- Execution of payment runs
- Maintaining the Treasury Management System
- Interact with vendors and banks
- Assist colleagues with treasury related questions
- Respect existing SOX controls and documentation requirements
- Perform ad hoc tasks
Skills & Competencies:
- Collaborative work style with the ability to interact with banks, vendors and colleagues.- Accurate, organized, communicative and able to work autonomously.- Ability to comply with internal procedures.- Knowledge of accounting software packages. Knowledge of Oracle is an asset
- Knowledge of a Treasury Management System is a plus- Fluent in English and Dutch.
Education, experience & qualifications:
- A bachelor in accounting
- 3-5 years experience in accounting is required.
- Experience in working in a multi-currency international environment
