Health Economist

**Who do we seek?**

We are seeking an economist, mathematician or statistician with an additional specialization in health economics to join our team. You will play a key role in programming cost-effectiveness and budget impact models that represent the value and economic consequences of new technology in healthcare. If you have a few years’ experience with building economic models, as well as a strong desire to work in a consulting environment to help clients find solutions to their problems, you just might be the person we are looking for

**Responsibilities**
- Develop, adapt and review cost-effectiveness and budget impact models
- Analyse, interpret, report, and present qualitative and quantitative data
- Work closely with a wide range of peers, project managers, and clinical experts

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics or mathematics
- Master’s degree in health economics (not in health policy), with 2-3 years of experience in modelling
- Good knowledge of advanced statistics (Stata, SAS, R)
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (and VBA)
- Excellent communication skills in order to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients, as well explain complex topics in simple terms, both verbally and in writing
- Good time management skills and the ability to handle a variety of work demands and deadlines
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English; fluency in Dutch or French is a plus
