Hq Accountant

As an experienced Accountant, you will be at the heart of our dynamic, growing team, taking responsibility for the A-Z accounting of our Belgian entity. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Preparation, verification, and input of all journal entries.
- Ensuring month-end and year-end closing processes are executed accurately, while adhering to accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handling AP/AR activities efficiently.
- Accurately preparing monthly and annual tax reports, such as VAT and Intrastat.
- Supporting the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and monitoring adherence to the approved budget.
- Assisting in annual audits and special projects.

To excel in this role, we are looking for someone who:

- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification.
- Ideally, has practical experience in a fast-paced company or corporate organization.
- Possesses advanced knowledge of accounting standards, including **Belgian GAAP** and IFRS.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Excel, with familiarity in Exact Online & Blue10 being a plus.
- Has excellent organizational, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Shows eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
- Is precise, punctual, and result-oriented.
- Is fluent in both English and Dutch.
