The **Chief of Staff **acts as **key development role **for Telenet Finance Talent, providing unique experience to gain senior leadership exposure. You are responsible for ensuring that the **CFO **has the content, data and insights required to operate in a fast changing, complex and dynamic environment. You act as a **trusted adviser **, challenger and sounding board, and use your organizational skills to enable the CFO to be effective in role.
Besides this, you need to liaise with the Finance Leadership Team and key employees throughout the organization, to facilitate alignment and engagement, and to ensure delivery of key priorities. You also keep a keen eye on the moving parts and ensure that there is strong alignment across the business on key elements of the business plan.
The Chief of Staff leads specific projects within Telenet ensuring achievement of the Global Finance Talent & Development Objectives. You will acts as a key point of contact for the Liberty Global CFO Chief of Staff and Liberty Global CFO Office Manager.
**Your tasks as a Chief of Staff**:
**Pillar specific performance management;**
- Ensure key CFO meetings are efficiently used: structuring agenda, coordinating materials, distributing key follow ups.
- Ensure alignment with Global Finance Matrix.
- Ensure regular meetings take place on key priorities and that trackers are kept on progress.
- Project Management of team specific initiatives.
**Finance team specific projects;**
- Manage distribution, onboarding and management of Graduates and Emerging Talent within Telenet.
- Support the development of Finance Academy (ensuring team are enrolled).
- Manage on-boarding of new team members and induction plans, assist in recruitment process for key roles.
- Perform together with the People Team the talent analysis in line with key FLT dates, ensuring organization is accurately reflected.
- Act as key coordinator between CFO and the People Team to ensure organizational structure is optimized, key roles are filled, and succession plans are in place.
- Co-ordinate communications to and from the team
- Newsletter articles, Town Halls, Team Meetings and conferences.
- Manage Finance L&D Budget and working with the People team to ensure sufficient L&D is provided to the team.
- Help to build a sense of community and belonging within the team.
**Key Deliverables;**
- Completion of Monthly Talent & Development Scorecard.
- Telenet participation in the Liberty Global Finance academy.
- Pillar/ OpCo inductions, team meetings, conferences, communications.
- Key meeting agendas, materials, follow ups.
**Our ideal Chief of Staff**:
**Knowledge & experience;**
- MBA or similar broad-based Finance qualification / experience would be desirable.
- Familiarity with Telenet/ Liberty Global strategy, products, distribution channels and markets.
- Familiarity with the Finance operating model and core responsibilities of each department.
- Experience of driving business performance through financial analysis and insight.
- Broad business experience gained within leadership and individual contributor roles.
- Led / participated in initiatives that translated a strategic vision and business strategies into tangible plans and deliverables.

- Strong Leadership presence, and ability to represent the CFO in an exceptional way.
- Creative and collaborative approach to complex problem solving; results orientated.
- Engaging and influential communication style and stakeholder management at all levels of the organization to executive level.
- Building strong and trusting relationships across a broad network in the organization and the ability to navigate across relationships at a senior level.
- Ability to make decisions, use independent judgment, establish priorities, and work effectively on multiple initiatives.
- The ability to always maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong analytical and commercial capabilities.
- Strong business acumen, coupled with excellent project management / facilitation skills.
- Ability to coordinate strategic initiatives.
- Strong communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
