Junior Accountant Benelux

The junior accountant functions as a right-hand man to the Finance Manager. His\/her tasks are in 2 major fields, credit control and reporting. He\/she also assists with ad-hoc assignments within facility and HR.
- higher degree in accounting or at least an economic education in humanities;
- Relevant work expertise is a plus;
- Experience in travel\/hospitality industry is a plus;
- Very good MS-Office skills;
- Strong understanding and use of KPI’s in campaign reporting;
- Fluent in written and spoken Dutch and\/or French and English;
- High level of resilience and flexibility;
- Accurate, analytical and numerical insight;
- Independent, structured and result-oriented-Hands-on mentality, quick comprehension, affinity for technology;
- Booking of bank statements, Credit Card payments;
- Ensure timely collections of deposits and final balances;
- Follow Up refund requests;
- Update Database of Agencies;
- Booking of incoming invoices;
- Supplier Payments;
- Assistance in closing tasks: deprecations, accruals, reporting;
- Open for additional tasks and responsibilities, both ad hoc and permanent;
