**About Us**

**Job Summary**

The Sales Manager Benelux will be responsible for maximising the acquisition of new customers and orders in the assigned territory (Benelux), providing added value to the customer through technical, commercial and partnership skills.
The Benelux Sales Manager will be responsible for a work Team and will report directly to the Sales Director.

**Responsibilities**
- Directs the sales force to achieve sales and profit goals through market penetration for machines sales and aftermarket business.
- Identifying potential opportunities with existing customers and the acquisition of new customers, resellers, and distributors to meet strategic business objectives.
- Manages multiple areas and adjusts sales goals and procedures for each Area.
- Prepare and review contract terms and conditions using standard Ingersoll Rand contract templates when applicable.
- Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the sales volume.
- Develops and maintains a competent work force through training, coaching, and establishing goals and objectives
- Managing the local sales and service teams in the offices in Belgium and Netherlands.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Post - Secondary school degree: vocational degree or university degree (engineering degree will be considered positively), plus a bachelor's or educational in sales;
- Excellent sales and interpersonal skills.
- Sales experience in industrial environment

**Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements**
Flexible working, travel in the assigned Territory.

**Key Competencies**
- Languages: Dutch and business English knowledge, French is nice to have
- Solid knowledge and distribution channel management with ability to support and train sellers in the field.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve short, medium and longer term budgeted sales and margin.
- Manage and develop Equipment and Aftermarket sales.
- Maintain an updated knowledge of competitor activity and plans, taking action and making recommendations as necessary.
- Manage the commercial position of the Company in its market, taking a balanced view of market share growth and margin improvement.
- Manage pricing and negotiate prices for new business within set parameters to achieve budgets and Company plans.
- Take responsibility for promotion of company including organisation and attendance at trade shows.
- Manage costs to achieve budgeted levels.
- Represent the company with customers and elsewhere as needed, making visits as necessary.
- Assist in the development of the annual sales target.
- Take a lead position in all areas of business to resolve problems of supply, quality, liability, debt collection, etc. ensuring a satisfactory outcome and looking for a win-win position where possible.
- Assist the company in driving product development

**Qualifications/Education**
- Technical qualification in mechanical or Electrical Engineering and/or in business or sales related area are preferred.

**Experience**
- Proven experience of sales management skills is essential.
- Technical Sales experience in vacuums or similar industry is a plus.

- Flexibility and adaptability to changing work requirements and multiple projects are essential.

**What we Offer**
