**The Role**:
As **Head of Business Development**, you will have the opportunity to lead a growing team of international Business Developers based out of Rydoo’s Lisbon hub. You would be supporting the development and growth of the DR team in various markets and reporting to the CRO. You would work closely with cross-functional teams like Sales, Marketing, and Product to establish best practices, playbooks, and KPIs to increase efficiencies and improve lead generation processes. All while guiding a strong, cohesive, and collaborative team.

**Your main responsibilities are the following (but not limited to)**:

- Execute our outbound strategy that will ensure the achievement of pipeline generation for each of the development representatives in their market.
- Through great leadership, develop a high-performing outbound team
- Manage, lead, and mentor the prospecting team in identifying, creating, nurturing, qualifying, and developing pipelines in their market
- Train, develop, and motivate the prospecting team in skills, sales methodologies and activities, product knowledge, teamwork, time, territory management, and competitive knowledge
- Lead business development opportunities and sales forecast and commitment decisions
- Provide regular, accurate, sales forecasts to sales leadership in an agreed format
- Hold weekly 1:1s with your team of DRs, offer consistent coaching calls, performance feedback, and actionable ways to improve your team
- Gain insight from the KPI data of the POD
- Ability to improve processes in cooperation with Sales Ops
- Work closely with Marketing to optimize inbound strategies
- Utilize Outreach Reporting for coaching and outbound skill development improvement
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding new hires, and mentoring a high-performance and a highly engaged team

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a business developer or an account executive (working with inside sales/ sales development) with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others to perform and achieve results
- Outbound experience in selling enterprise SaaS solutions, nationally or globally
- Strong, tested sales experience and leadership in organizations that have demonstrated revenue growth, new customer acquisitions, and increasing lifetime value of customers
- Strong execution focus and ability to develop solutions and strategies to further accelerate growth
- Strong business and analytical acumen; strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in modern sales forecasting techniques

- Working proficiency in English (C1+)
- Working proficiency in other European languages; German is a plus

**Practicalities**:

- You’ll be reporting to the CRO
- You’ll be part of the Sales team
- Location: Lisbon
- Start date: ASAP
