We are a startup part of ABB E-mobility, a **technology leader in electrification for over 130 years**.

***How's the role**:
To further sustain our growth, we are looking for a person to **drive DevOps within the organization**. Here, DevOps is a horizontal ("Chapter") going across all product development teams, and its main members are cloud infrastructure specialists ("DevOps Engineers"). Your first contributions will be in a greenfield project, offering the opportunity to implement best practices from the start.

***What you'll do**:
As the DevOps Lead, you will:

- Play a key role in driving innovative software solutions for our **state-of-the-art EV charging platform**.
- Work closely with engineering management and (lead) engineers to ensure DevOps is implemented as a **culture of collaboration**.
- ** Drive the strategy** and roadmap of the chapter.
- ** Lead people** supporting our products with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability.
- Collaborate with SREs and product development teams to **enable us to meet reliability, security, and maintainability goals**.
- Contribute to **documentation**.

**How's the process**:

- You meet our engineering manager for 1h.
- You work on a small take-home project to show your technical skills. It should take about 1-2h of work.
- We invite you for a technical interview at our Hasselt office. The goal is for you to walk us through the work you did on the previous step, and share more about your skills and aspirations.
- We make an offer.

Your profile:

- You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in informatics, computer science, industrial science or equivalent experience.
- You are passionate about automation, server technology and cloud solutions
- You are a fast learner and willing to learn new technologies and skills
- You possess strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, and Dutch is a strong asset.
- You enjoy working collaboratively with other Software and DevOps Engineers
- You have an analytical and creative mind and can get things done.
- You can work autonomously and take initiative to propose solutions.

Technical skills:

- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps.
- You have experience with cloud providers, experience in Azure technologies is an asset,
- You have experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (Azure DevOps)
- You have an Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and an outright understanding of various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/ CD pipelines).
- You have experience with Containers and Serverless technology
- Experience in software development (relevant working experience)
- Experience in data engineering is a plus
- Experience with Python is a plus
- Experience with at least one scripting language and well versed in the Linux command shell.
