As an Account Manager, you are responsible for the sales performance of DLL in the Global Business Unit of Technology Solutions (ICT) domain.
As Account Manager you, your colleagues and the internal account managers will work as a team to drive the commercial success of market leading global industry players and local resellers. You are active in hunting new partnerships, generating leads, building relationships and closing transactions.
You will be selling leasing products and ensuring: New Partnerships, New Business Volumes, Customer Satisfaction, Customer Retention and Profitability.
This role will ask you to hunt and to deeply engage with Vendors and partner/reseller.
**Day to day**
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the Vendor’s commercial representatives as well as the Vendor’s business partners.
- Hunting and developing new partnerships in the Channel Landscape (local and international resellers)
- Securing strong visibility for DLL and its financing propositions.
- Executing the sales strategy and business plan of the Global Business Unit, the Vendor and the Partners. Derive a plan for the assigned territory, in order to realize defined commercial goals (New Business, margins, portfolio growth and customer satisfaction) in an effective, efficient manner, compliant with corporate policies.

- and deal-related information in the respective Customer Relation Management systems.
- Defining and implementing (together with the Internal Account Manager) an account plan.
- Ensuring structural analyses of the assigned market, trends, portfolio developments and sales opportunities, in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, in order to assure sales and program alignment with market demands.
- Managing and monitoring the performance of the prospects pipeline and customer base, in line with the sales plan, in order to achieve targets.
- Ensuring proper management of the business relationship with your Vendor and partners in order to increase business volume & income and stay in line with credit conditions. All actions leading into a profitable sustainable relationship.

**Essentials**
- Bachelor or University Degree in e.g. Business Administration or Economics
- A strong analytic, strategic and commercial track record in both sales and relationship management.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the Channel environment.
- A passion for the Office Technology market and a good understanding of the IT-landscape.
- A can-do attitude and passion for your job
- Strong consultative selling skills - listening, questioning, persuading.
- Hunting skills and networking skills and has a relevant network.
- Team player but able to work autonomously as well.
- Knowledge of financing solutions
- Flexible and willing to travel within Belgium around 80% of the time
