DHL Gerlach zoekt momenteel een senior vat officer.
- Je coördineert en dient zelfstandig de BTW, ICP en Intrastat aangiftes van klanten in Nederland & België in.
- Je vraagt zelfstandig de BTW en EORI nummers aan na afstemming met de klant en ziet of deze voldoet aan de basis vereisten, je volgt deze op en monitort de uitgezette acties.
- Je bekijkt of vereenvoudiging mogelijk is voor de klant doorheen het proces.
- Je behandelt complexe BTW vraagstukken
- Je waarborgt de kwaliteit & kennis binnen de interne organisatie op gebied van BTW.
- Je stelt dossierinstructies op voor het juist afhandelen van import
- en exporttransacties en bijbehorende documenten
- Je coördineert gerelateerde douanevraagstukken in relatie tot de producten AFV/BFV.
- Je onderhoudt contacten met de belastingdienst.
- Je analyseert maandelijks de klantgegevens, voert controles uit op de gegevens en bereidt de facturatie van de dienstverlening voor.
- Je blijft op de hoogte van de laatste ontwikkelingen in kader van BTW wetgevingen.
- Je voert audits uit op je taken en herbekijkt de interne procedures.
- Je voert deze werkzaamheden uit met in achtneming van de wettelijke regelgeving en normen omtrent veiligheid en milieu, zoals ISO 9001/14001, ADR, schadepreventie en milieuwetgeving
- Je bent aanspreekpunt voor de klant en adviseert hen indien nodig

**Profiel**
- Je hebt minstens 5 jaar werkervaring binnen de internationale VAT wetgeving & BTW aangiftes.
- Je hebt kennis van vrachtvervoer douane
- en Europese BTW-wetgeving
- Je bent gekend met expeditie, transport en logistiek en hebt kennis van fiscale vertegenwoordiging
- Je hebt een vlotte kennis Nederlands en Engels, zowel geschreven als gesproken.
- Je bent een nauwkeurige werker met de nodige sociale vaardigheden om externe contacten te onderhouden
- Je bent in staat zelfstandig te werken en goed te functioneren in een team. Daarnaast durf je ook met de nodige assertiviteit gesprekken voeren, zonder je klantgerichtheid uit het oog te verliezen

Bij Gerlach & Co heerst er een KMO-gevoel. Er zijn ongeveer een 50 tal personen in dienst.
Tegelijk zou je verbonden zijn aan het internationaal bedrijf DHL (in 27 verschillende landen, 170 kantoren), met de processen/procedures die er bij te pas komen. Ze zijn aanwezig in 27 verschillende landen.
