**Functiebeschrijving**

Als Software Architect werk je zelf technische voorstellen uit voor de architectuur in een tech stack die gebaseerd is op Java en Angular. Je job is gevarieerd en gaat van technische expertise over specifieke vragen tot het identificeren van high-level oplossingen voor complexe systeemimplementaties:

- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen en bewaken van de softwarearchitectuur. Je begrijpt de noden en reikt stabiele toepassingsarchitecturen aan, die je documenteert met behulp van modelleringstools.
- Als technische teamlead organiseer je het ontwikkelteam en volg je de ontwikkelaars in hun dagelijks werk. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit van de code en voert code-reviews uit. Je team is op een Agile manier georganiseerd.
- Je werkt nauw samen met softwareontwikkelaars, functioneel analisten en middleware-specialisten om succesvolle implementaties te realiseren. Je staat in voor het uitdragen van de good practices inzake design en ontwikkeling.
- Je maakt deel uit van de Solution en Application Architect community van Smals. In die community en via tools zoals Confluence deel je je kennis en ervaringen met je collega-architecten.

**Profiel**
- Je hebt minimum vier jaar ervaring in een Java-ontwikkelingsomgeving en beschikt over een bachelor
- of masterdiploma in de Informatica.
- Je hebt een brede kennis van ontwikkelmethoden en standaarden, architectuur en technologieën zoals Java, Angular, SpringBoot, JBoss (JEE), PostgreSQL, Oracle, JMS, OpenShift en RESTful.
- Je kan een technisch implementatieplan uitwerken en dit plan binnen de toegekende termijnen tot een goed einde brengen.
- Je hebt ervaring met modelleringstechnieken en -tools (bv. Archimate, Enterprise Architect, UML, C4 ).
- Je leiderschap, analytische blik en probleemoplossend vermogen zijn cruciale kwaliteiten voor succes. Ze stellen je in staat om je team te leiden en te ondersteunen en onze klanten binnen de sociale zekerheid en de gezondheidszorg stabiele oplossingen aan te bieden.
- Je bent op zoek naar een veelzijdige en uitdagende rol waarin je creativiteit en je verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel tot uiting kunnen komen.
- Je spreekt vlot Nederlands en hebt een passieve kennis van het Frans. Je bent in staat om technische documenten in het Engels op te stellen.
- Je leert graag bij, want Smals investeert sterk in jouw opleidingen.
