In één zin samengevat de rol en de uitdaging van een architect. En binnen IS EB/HC & Financial Assets is dit zeker zo.
Onze core systemen EB-HC zijn ontworpen om contracten op zeer lange termijn te beheren, gedurende de hele professionele carrière van onze aangeslotenen. Onze financiële systemen geven een historiek van je financiële verrichten tot ver voor de Euro.
Dagelijks doen we architectuur van onze systemen. Dat wil zeggen een continue zoektocht om de beste oplossing voor te stellen, opdat onze business zijn objectieven kan waarmaken. Of dat nu een optimalisatie betreft in contractbeheer, schadebeheer of in onze financiële processen of een nieuwe digitale ervaring voor onze klanten of eerder het ontdekken van trends in onze data, al onze oplossingen moet steeds op maat zijn van de ambities van onze business.
Maar de grootste challenge is ongetwijfeld de onvoorspelbaarheid van de toekomst. Hoe houden we onze platformen onderhoudbaar met een minimum aan inspanningen? Hoe kunnen we producten blijven aanbieden die concurrentieel zijn in een omgeving met lage interestvoeten? Op welk aspect kunnen we onze processen nog verder digitaliseren? En hoe kunnen we een advanced analytics platform bouwen in de cloud?...
Op al deze vragen, en meer, kan je zelf een antwoord geven als lid van het team IS EB/HC & Financial Assets Architecture.
**Dit is jouw topjob**:
- Je bepaalt de architectuur en het high level design van de oplossing, rekening houdend met de langetermijnvisie en de impact op het bestaande systeem. Je anticipeert op de openheid en de toekomstige flexibiliteit van de oplossing en je integreert technische beperkingen en mogelijkheden.
- Je werkt samen en deelt je kennis over het patrimonium met de andere architecten, met de business en met de experts van IS EB-HC & Financial Assets.
- Je daagt uit de behoeften en informatie die je krijgt van de verschillende betrokkenen, zodat alle elementen aanwezig zijn om tot een kwalitatieve, duurzame en eenvoudige oplossing te komen.
- Je stelt de opties voor en evalueert ze, rekening houdend met alle parameters van het project.
- Je werkt samen met de projectmanager en de ontwikkelingsploeg. Je overlegt met hen en betrekt hen tijdens de fase van de requirements en ondersteunt hen tijdens de rest van het traject.
- Je zorgt voor de optimale kwaliteit van de ontwikkelingen via testing en de functionele competentie van je collega's.
**Dit ben jij helemaal**:
- Je hebt ervaring in functionele analyse en je kan goed structureren en synthetiseren.
- Je denkt zowel conceptueel en abstract als diepgaand.
- Je functioneert in projectfasen waar nog geen ideeën zijn ontwikkeld en waar het target en de oplossing naar voren komen tijdens het traject.
- Je durft de dingen in vraag stellen en met nieuwe ideeën komen.
- Je bent pragmatisch en flexibel in het streven naar realistische oplossingen die passen in de langetermijnvisie.
- Je communiceert efficiënt en gepast met de verschillende stakeholders van het project, inclusief de business en alle managementniveaus.
- Je drukt je vlot uit in het Nederlands of het Frans. Je volgt zonder problemen een gesprek of leest documenten in de andere taal. Je kan ook in het Engels werken.
