**What You’ll Do**
The Repair Technician will perform repair and maintenance activities on all capital equipment devices of the company in the Service Center based in Machelen. The tasks include investigating, testing, troubleshooting and repairing components and parts of the company’s capital equipment devices according to the quality standards.
**Required Qualifications**
- Investigating, testing, troubleshooting and repairing components and parts of the company’s capital equipment devices
- Ensure high quality standards by following clear guidelines and procedures
- Writing detailed reports in English on investigations and other service
- Under limited supervision of the Service Center Supervisor:
- Execute daily assigned tasks from the servicing job list
- Write reports in parallel with servicing tasks
- Take initiative to improve work, product and processes
- Perform relatively complex assignments and solve problems that may have a variety of solutions
- Adapt work methods to different situations and resolve unusual, non-standard problems by following the scope of the set SOP’s
- Review work of other employees for quality and content
- Experience in repairing electronic equipment and/or has high interests in servicing medical electronic equipment
- Attentiveness to details, ability to work under limited supervision
- Ability to handle multiple assignments in a timely manner meeting assigned deadlines
- Dedicated to follow up procedures and accuracy in writing reports in English
- Willingness to learn from more experienced people and flexible in adapting to easier and better working methods
- Ensure a focus on accuracy and consistency in the execution of the work to obtain high quality.
- Technical degree in electronics or equivalent by experience or specialized training
- Fluent in English, good in Dutch and notions of French
- Good skills in writing technical reports in English
- Computer knowledge: Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Positive attitude, team player and motivator
- Quality mindset with dedication on compliance to set procedures
