**The team you will be a part of**:
The Accounting team establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, fiscal controls, preparing financial reports and safeguarding the organization's assets. Maintains accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, financial statements, regulatory and management reports.

**This role in summary**:
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented accounting specialist. KitchenAid EMEA is operating in 8 legal entities. The accounting specialist will support in filing all documents in order to meet the legal requirements for all these entities. Next to this, this role will be involved in the yearly external audit tasks, preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and yearly financial statements.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments to the organization
- Assist in the preparation of tax and VAT filings
- Handle general ledger bookkeeping where necessary
- Look for and provide solutions for accounting irregularities
- Support in the yearly external audit
- Support in preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- File all documents to meet legal requirements for the 8 legal entities (such as Intrastat, BLIW,)

**Minimum requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in Business, Finance or Economics or equivalent by experience
- 1-3 years accounting experience
- Strong communication skills

**Preferred skills and experiences**:

- Fluent in English is a must
- Dutch or French are a plus
- Proficient in accounting and office software (Excel). BI analyzer is a plus
- SAP knowledge
