**The company is a global leader in comprehensive piping solutions, trusted by customers worldwide for over two decades. Their wide range of specialized pipping products caters to specific needs in plumbing, heating and cooling, gas, electrical conduit, drainage, and infrastructure.

**The company is looking for an Accountant who will use his/her financial expertise and entrepreneurship mindset to advise and assist the board in all financial and strategic developments of the company.
**You will report to the Managing Director of the European entity and the Overseas Head of Finance at HQ.
**Description de la fonction**
- Determine the financial strategy together with the MD and ensure multi-year planning;
- Manage and control all accounting operations (billing, AR, AP, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting and revenu recognition);
- Cooperating with external accounting companies (Big 4);
- Be responsible for the periodic closing, preparation of the management reporting and presentation of the figures to the board;
- performing cost and margin analyses, update and deliver full P&L on a monthly basis;
- be responsible for compliance management;
- ensure transparent financial reporting and continuous improvement thereof;
- build a strong internal and external network
- scrutinize the current financial processes and take them to the next level to make the finance department
- future-proof.

**Description du profil**
- you have a bachelor's or master's degree in finance or economics and 3-5 years' experience with relevant responsibilities;
- you have experience with setting up and optimizing financial processes and systems;
- you have operational commitment and involvement and you do not shy away from it;
- you are fluent in Dutch and English, any other European language is a plus.
- Being fluent in Chinese is a BIG plus.
