To support its growth, Husqvarna Belgium is looking for a (M/F):
R&D Laboratory Technician

In our central laboratory, you are responsible for analyzing and interpreting various processes within the development of diamond tools: raw materials, components, semi-finished products, finished products, prototypes, customer feedback, benchmarking,.

You will report to the Central Lab Officer.

Your main responsibilities:

- Preparation of samples according the procedures in place
- Conducting analyzes and reports making use of available high-tech equipment
- Maintenance of equipment, participation in technological evolution and acquisition of new procedures, including digital techniques
- Follow up of general and specific standards concerning methods of expertise, safety of diamond tools, mechanics, metal powders, steels and organic materials
- Collaborating closely with the divisions Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, Product Management and other Husqvarna sites

Your main skills:

- Bachelor degree metallurgy or chemistry
- Similar experience in an R&D industrial laboratory environment
- Basic knowledge of industrial drawings
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Languages: English and French
- Personality: hands-on, methodic, creative, driven, team-player
