Topic

To ensure quality for our on-board audio systems to our customers, it is necessary for us to perform measurements and calibrations for the different vehicles. To acquire accurate data, these measurements need to take place in the field where there is usually a limited timeframe to have these executed.

Technically the assistant should be able to detect all device, device types, stream messages/signals to a selection of all available audio outputs as well as record audio from the various audio inputs. Apart from the streaming, the tool needs to process this data to provide us sufficient information for our configuration:

- Impact of PA broadcast level on microphone sensitivity determine risk for acoustic feedback.
- correlation of the real ambient noise and ambient noise measured by the audio system
- set up of PA broadcast level based on the ambient noise measurement

The assistant needs to be easy to work with and therefor the frontend needs to be clear and understandable and should include features like:

- Visualize layout of the vehicle under test
- Speaker branches
- Measurement locations
- Visualize/report uniformity of the measured PA broadcast level throughout the saloon area's
- Visualize/report the measured PA intelligibility throughout the saloon area's
