In the spirit of continued growth and to help improve our business, we are currently seeking for a Planner Biostatistics.

**Job Description**:
**Failing to plan is planning to fail.**

In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects related to the **planning of the broad range of activities** within the SGS Biostatistical department located in Mechelen, Belgium.

Able to work independently and collaboratively, your primary responsibilities will include:

- Collect the data and information required for planning purposes
- Attendance to planning meetings with the Biostatistical Manager
- To discuss and agree on overall planning
- To discuss changes in planning and possible impact on resource planning.
- Attendance to meetings related to STAT planning (internal and external)
- Maintain planning file used to assign resources, containing detailed tasks on multiple projects
- Communicate timelines in function of planning to the project manager:

- Provide feedback on proposed/updated planning
- Evaluate practice towards planning and communicate the necessary updates
- Regularly communicate planning to the colleagues

**Qualifications**:
**What do you need to be successful?**
- Bachelor of Science
- No experience required - training on the job. Pharma/CRO knowledge is an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Assertive
- Taking initiative and responsibility.
- Flexibility and open to other people’s opinion; prepared to listen and willing to learn
- Positive, constructive and professional attitude towards colleagues and clients
