**Contract terms**:Permanent CDI contract
**Contract hours**:5 days / week - 38 hours / week
**Work conditions**: Office environment in Brussels - remote not possible
**Start**:As soon as possible
**Responsibilities**:
- Day-to-day financial management;
- Input all entries into the general ledger, including staff costs, processing suppliers’ invoices, and taxes;
- Processing and verifying bank payments.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts with bank statements.
- Monitor, register and verify project expenditures, timesheets, payslips, and other documents needed to comply with EU rules.
- Support the internal and external audit process, including preparing information for auditors.
- Contribute to the preparation of the budget and project financial reports.
**Profile**:
- Mandatory: University degree (BSc) in accountancy, economics, finance, business administration (an MSc is a plus);
- At least 4-5 years’ experience in accounting and/or financial project management;
- Experience working in an international context;
- Knowledge of FP7, H2020, Lif, etc. funding and financing rules is desirable;
- Working knowledge of accounting software is an asset;
- Good time management - able to work under strong pressure and dedicated to meet deadlines.
**Language**:English (excellent).
