G/l Accountant

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Assist in directing the financial affairs of the organization and prepare financial analyses of operations, including month end financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management.
- Help in preparing monthly income statements and balance sheet statements.
- Prepare monthly VAT filings for European jurisdictions, including but not limited to Belgium, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
- Be an active partner in the preparation of the year end reporting - Accon annual accounts.
- The position involves some supervision over general accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting and budgetary controls.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Having a degree in Accounting.
- 3-5 years of experience in a public accounting practice or experience working in multinational company.
- Being punctual, having a high level of organization and adapting easy to changes in the process
- Ability to collaborate in a professional manner with customer, co-workers and all levels of management.
- Ability to read write and speak Dutch and English fluently.

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Some experience in SAP is a plus.
- Must be able to work over 40 hours per week, if required.
