**About Noroff Accelerate**

At Noroff Accelerate we provide fast-paced learning, guided by instructors with vast education and industry experience. We work closely with our industry partners to create relevant training when and where it is needed.

Noroff has physical campuses in Oslo, Bergen, Kristiansand, and Stavanger in Norway. Noroff also has a strong online presence and a history of international collaboration.

We deliver full-time 12-week bootcamps or 10-week part-time accelerated learning courses. In addition, we offer short courses which can vary from a few days, one week long to four weeks.

**Description of the function
**With us, your main duties will include**:

- Creating and maintaining our UX/UI curriculum (including course notes, teaching aids, and assessments) in collaboration with the portfolio manager.
- Teaching our UX/UI curriculum (in the English language) in an online or classroom-based setting.
- Keeping up with UX/UI trends, design strategies, and technologies and incorporating these developments into our curriculum.
- Collaborating with team members on ad-hoc teaching projects as required.

**Profile description
**Essential qualification**:
A Bachelor's Degree in UX/UI design from an internationally recognised institution.

**Essential skills or experience**:

- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- The ability to translate client goals and objectives (brief) into digital experiences which adhere to user-centered and/or value-centered design best practices and guidelines in websites and/or production software.
- Experience in analyzing user-Centric Design Research (quantitative and qualitative data), presenting findings and recommendations, and translating findings into tangible designs.
- Experience in developing and using deliverables such as discovery findings, mental models, scenarios, user journey maps, personas, debrief documentation, testing plans, task lists, low and high-fidelity prototypes, annotated wireframes, and/or clickable prototypes.
- Experience in User Interface Development employing Atomic Design, UI Grids and Composition, Color Theory, Heuristic Metric Creation, Typographic Theory, Interaction Design, and Iconography, Style guides, and Design systems
- Ability to convey conceptual and complex ideas and information in a clear way.

**Advantageous skills or experience**:

- Experience in developing UX/UI educational content (course readers, assessments) and teaching aids (presentations, scripts, learning activities).
- A teaching qualification or experience in facilitating workshops/ lectures/seminars.
- Prior use of an online learning management system (i.e., Moodle).
- Familiarity with Git or similar code versioning systems.
- Experience in using web prototyping and development languages.
- Expertise in using standard UX software.
- Experience with visual software tools.
- Experience with rapid prototyping and visualization tools.
- A relevant master's degree in UX/UI-related area.
- Fluency in a Scandinavian language.
