De bedrijvengroep die deel uitmaakt van een Limburgse investeringsholding bestaat uit 6 bedrijven die gespecialiseerd zijn in logistieke dienstverlening. Voor één van deze bedrijven, met als hoofdactiviteit “laad -en los activiteiten” zoeken we naar een **Operations Manager **met een zeer sterke interesse in logistiek/scheepvaart. Naast laad -en losactiviteiten biedt dit groeiend bedrijf een waaier aan (transport) oplossingen zodat de klant zich geen zorgen hoeft te maken over de goederen.

Als operations manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het vlot coördineren van de processen en operaties on site en zorg je ervoor dat de tevredenheid van je team op peil blijft.
Je zal instaan voor **werknemerstevredenheid** en **people** **management**:
- Op de hoogte blijven van het reilen en zeilen binnen het team en bijsturen waar nodig;
- Verantwoordelijk voor de doorstroom van informatie van management naar eigen team;
- Toezien op change management binnen de organisatie;
- Garanderen van proactieve, vlotte, kwalitatieve en transparante communicatie;
- Aanmoedigen en inspireren van het team om (‘out of the box’) verbetervoorstellen te doen en deze vertalen naar specifieke acties;
- Organiseren van opleidingstrajecten op basis van de behoeften van het team.
Daarnaast zal je instaan voor het **operationeel** leiden van de **laad**:
- en **losactiviteiten**:
- Dagelijks in goede banen leiden van de operaties, weegbrug en onderhoud op de site;
- Behouden van een helicopterview over de laad en losoperaties van schepen, vrachtwagens en containers;
- Ten allen tijde bewaken van de veiligheidsnormen - veiligheid staat centraal;
- Bepalen en dagelijks opvolgen van de operationele objectieven;
- Bewaken van efficiëntie / rendement van de operaties en bijsturen waar nodig;
- Bewaken van vooropgestelde budgetten, schakelen waar nodig en tijdig en proactief communiceren naar management;
- Waarborgen van infrastructuur. Garanderen van strikte opvolging m.b.t. netheid, beveiliging, onderhoudswerken, machinepark en wagenpark.
Alsook zal je instaan voor **planning** schepen, **personeelsbezetting** en **klantentevredenheid**:
- Dagdagelijks planning van de schepen voorbereiden voor de dag nadien;
- Voorzien van de adequate medewerkers en tijdig bijsturen in geval van afwezigheden of onvoorziene omstandigheden;
- Voorzien van het correcte machinepark en bijhorend materieel ifv uitvoering;
- Opvolging en implementatie van de klachtenbehandeling van klanten;
- Fungeert als lokale operationele eindverantwoordelijke en escaleert indien nodig.

- Je hebt reeds enkele jaren ervaring in een logistieke omgeving;
- Je hebt reeds ervaring met het aansturen van een team of je hebt hier een natuurlijke aanleg voor;
- Je bent hands-on, proactief en neemt graag de operaties in handen;
- Je hebt een passie voor logistiek/scheepvaart en bent bereid om dagelijks mee op de vloer te staan;
- Je bent klantgericht, denkt probleemoplossend en wil graag de extra mile gaan voor de tevredenheid van de klant;
- Je hebt een sterk inzicht in planning, bent een organisatietalent, kan een helicopterview bewaren en functioneert goed met deadlines;
- Je bent sterk communicatief in Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
