**PURPOSE**:
- Provide input to global BU's to ensure correct development of product strategies and planning in the framework of global positioning that will effectively translate to each RCU
- Champion and lead the brand within the RCU to maximise motivation, optimise resource and investment allocation in line with agreed plans
- Localisation and realisation of brand plan and annual marketing plan for the RCU
- Create recommendations on local resourcing and promotional spend per product and coordinate with GM and BU Head
- Close collaboration and cooperation between Global BU and local functions including Sales, Medical Affairs and Market Access
**SCOPE**:
Ownership of a single brand in an RCU or multiple small brands
Operating in a single country environment
No direct reports or potentially one marketing assistant
Responsible for local brand budget as agreed with Global Brand Manager / BU Head
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Provide input to global BU's to ensure correct development of product strategies and planning in the framework of global positioning that will effectively translate to each RCU, highlighting local opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with Global Brand Managers to co-create brand positioning, brand book, core imagery and overarching campaign strategy
- Localisation and realisation of brand plan and annual marketing plan for the RCU
- Champion the brand locally within the RCU to maximise motivation, optimise resource and investment allocation in line with agreed plans
- Sit on the RCU Leadership Team and collaborate with RCU colleagues to achieve RCU objectives
- Accountable for adapting and localizing global brand content for respective RCUs, working with local creative agencies as necessary (e.g. enhancing content and market-specific content needs)
- Drive recommendations on local resourcing and promotional spend per product with in collaboration with GM and with approval from BU Head
- Manages approval of local content via Medical, Legal and Regulatory
- Responsible for interfacing with select customers and KOLs and organizing local congresses
- Monitor performance, update demand planning forecasts and manage local supply for the brand as part of S&OP process Lead local launch x functional team
**REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:
Degree in sciences and/or business administration
Experience in Launch Planning / results orientated mindset
Very good written and spoken English, as well as very good knowledge of MS Office
Very good communication and diplomatic skills and ability
Good leadership and motivational skills
Ability to operate and influence at a local and global level in a matrix organisation
Ability to operate independently in a matrix environment with direct line manager in a different location
A strong will to succeed with strong analytical skills combined with creativity and a structured way of working
