WorxInvest is looking for a financial controller to strengthen its finance team and who will play a coordinating role in it’s ESG monitoring and reporting.
**WorxInvest**
WorxInvest has embarked on an expansion initiative evolving into a forward-thinking, growth-oriented and diversified investment company and alternative asset manager. WorxInvest engages in both **direct investments**, facilitated through strategic shareholder positions as anchor investor in BeNeLux private and public firms, and **indirect investments**, building a diversified portfolio of best-performing buyout and growth funds operating in pan -Europe and North America, where we are also open to co-invest with these private equity funds. Other alternative asset classes in scope include real estate and infrastructure. Our overarching goal is to foster sustainable value creation over the long term while making a positive societal impact. WorxInvest is the parent company of SD Worx.
**Opportunity**
You will join a highly engaged finance team as financial controller and ESG coordinator. As financial controller you, together with the accounting team, will play a crucial role in the monthly, quarterly and yearly closing of WorxInvest. Furthermore, you will contribute to various regulatory reportings and provide insightful ad hoc analyses to bolster WorxInvests’ multifaceted operations.
In addition to your financial prowess, you will take the lead in orchestrating our reporting on ESG initiatives within WorxInvest. Your strategic coordination will ensure WorxInvest stays ahead of the curve, preparing and orchestrating the recurring reporting obligations in connection to our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
**Profile**
- Master degree
- A first audit experience within a Big4 or second tier accounting firm and 3-4 years of relevant working experience thereafter is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills, experience with SAP is an asset
- Good analytical and numerical skills
- Understanding of and experience with IFRS accounting and reporting
- Pro-active mindset, social and eagerness to learn and investigate
- Fluent English and Dutch, both written and spoken
