**He aha te mahi? What's the role?**:
Reporting to the Fruit Optimization Inventory Manager, the Supply Chain Specialist - Optimization is a key role within the Zespri Operations team. This role plays a critical role through interfacing, coordinating and overseeing in order to optimize the Zespri inventory with a strong focus on maximizing the returns to the growers.
The Supply Chain Specialist works closely with Operations, IBP and Sales to coordinate and ensure the efficient and smooth fulfilment of orders guaranteeing product quality and production efficiencies are met and maintained throughout the Supply Chain.
Key accountabilities include:
- Support operations and wider business to ensure EU inventory levels and quality specs are
- monitored, managed and reported in an accurate and timely manner;
- Work with operations and 3PL for the right pallet selection to optimize inventory standards combined with fruit performance data
- Support Delivery Orders from 3PL to Customer based on sales order planning from IBP and markets
- Manage the initial processing of pallet selection for sales order transfers and oversee pallet selection to ensure customer satisfaction and the prevention of losing value
- Work with Operations team to manage 3PL ensure customer orders are fulfilled
- Support on quality claim processes from an inventory point of view
- Continuous improvements by pitching improvement ideas with business cases and end to end follow up from brainstorming, developing, presenting, pushing for approval and landing the ideas with highly professional project mgmt.

- Expertise in the end-to-end supply chain and broader operational intersections and process
