Global Cloud Architect

Overview:
**Kemin Industries** is searching for a Global Cloud architect. The Global Cloud Architect is responsible for
**creating a well-informed cloud strategy and managing**
**develop and organize** cloud systems. You will work help to monitor the company’s cloud privacy and will respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner. The Global Cloud Architect will be expected to be heavily involved in supporting the Global Infrastructure from a Tier 3 perspective, and assist with tracking issues, coordinating training, updating documentation, and communicating with business on status of open items. You will be offering guidance in cloud infrastructure systems. You need to be able to work with a global team coordinating tasks and projects related to the cloud infrastructure. They will also be responsible for identifying the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.

**Responsibilities**:
As the Global Architect you are responsible to design, recommend and offer support on the cloud. You will have a variety of responsibilities such as:

- Acts as key technical resource for cloud infrastructure
- Develops and maintains cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
- Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives
- Advanced Troubleshooting and resolution of cloud issues
- Identifies and evaluates cloud computing technologies and current computing trends
- Assists with periodic audits of cloud infrastructure systems to ensure compliance to policies and standards
- Contributes to future roadmap of Cloud Infrastructure solutions and integrations in collaboration with other Kemin Departments

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree and 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Experience in in Azure and AWS
- Ability to analyse the business needs and recommend architecture needed in the cloud to produce desired outcome
- Excellent knowledge of could computing technologies and trends
- Possess effective prioritization skills and project management skills
- Strong communications skills
- Proven experience with designing, developing a modular cloud based system
- Autonomous worker, but a good teamplayer
- Problem solver, who likes to take initiative
