**Role**

As a Functional Analyst, you will work as a member of the product and engineering team within MobieTrain. This international and dedicated team is responsible for the analysis and development of our core product.

As a Functional Analyst, you are responsible for translating IT and business needs into functional specifications. You provide clear, structured documentation for users as well as developers and testers. You give colleagues and users the necessary functional support and you participate in the Agile meetings where you collaborate with the Product Owner and the engineering team leads where we define priorities in the Product Backlog management and in setting up the Users Stories.

**Role and responsibility**
- Acquire a good understanding of the business requirements and processes, in order to translate these into a robust solution design
- Look for creative and simple solutions and provide clear, structured documentation for the users, as well for the engineers and testers
- Describing the test scenarios, prepare test data and organize the test execution working in close relationship with the Q&A team
- Make project estimates and identify impact on IT infrastructure by collaborating with the architects
- Analysing potential corrective actions to be taken
- Reporting progress to VP of Product and CTO and identify potential risks
- Working closely with the business to ensure the final solution fits their needs
- Provide support to the operations team in case of major incidents

Required Skills/Certifications:

- You have experience in a B2B SaaS business environment
- You love ‘getting things done’ and you are very organized with a ‘hand-on’ mentality
- You have proven experience as a Functional Analysist
- You have very good knowledge of analysis tools and methodologies (UML, ARIS, Enterprise Architect, Jira,...)
- You can meet project deadlines and provide high-quality deliverables
- You have strong communication skills and analytical skills
- You are fluent in English and Dutch
- You have experiences in testing and knowledge of testing tools and frameworks (HPQC, NUnit)
- You are capable to think out of the box and maintain in the meantime a pragmatic approach

Basic knowledge of data protection legislation.
