Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise. Within the Network Infrastructure group, the IP Networks business group aims for global leadership in the IP Networking sector by providing a comprehensive end-to-end IP Networking portfolio. Powered by breakthrough silicon and software innovations, our products and solutions support an insight-driven, automated model for high-performance networking. These help our customers to embrace cloud, 5G, and Internet of Things (IoT) opportunities by enabling them to build more scalable, secure, and adaptive networks.

The specific team in IP Networks that you will work in is the CE/NPI team (Customer Engineering / New Product Introduction). Our international CE/NPI team of around 25 Engineers is spread across the countries in the NBB region (Benelux, Nordics & Baltics). We are involved in projects in all major accounts in this region to secure the technical deliverables in a growing and challenging business segment. To be successful, we need to closely collaborate with multiple teams within Nokia IP Networks and other Nokia groups (Project/Program Managers, Sales teams,, the Nokia Customer Support organization,). Our CE/NPI engineers are mainly engaged in the Post-Sales delivery of projects, doing Network/Solution Design, Validation & Acceptance, Integration and Migration for the Nokia IP Routing products and solutions. The team is involved in a great variety of IP Networking solutions, ranging from you getting high-speed data into your home (Internet, TV, Voice over IP) to data connectivity when being outside (2G/3G/4G/5G, Wifi Offload, IoT).. This also involves projects with SDN & NFV technologies, as well as our NSP platform for Network Management & Automation.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

Are you passionate about solving problems?
As part of our team, you will:

- be exposed to the future of IP Networking, as it lives and breathes through Nokia’s innovative technologies and solutions,
- take ownership of parts of our solutions, in line with your interests and be able to improve upon these,
- find an environment that wants to hear your innovative ideas & suggestions, with Nokia helping to nurture these.

Your area of interest could be the driving factor in the project you could or would be involved in. I.e. you have the possibility to make your own choices ranging from IP configurations, over Network Integration experiences, Script development, to Test Automation and other tasks to make our department's day-to-day work more efficient.

**Your skills and experience**

You have:

- innovative and open to ideas,
- willing to learn and deliver based on the assigned project(s),
- daring to challenge
- have a significant interest in IP Networks,
- be an enrolled student in Networking / IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, preferably in a Master’s program,
- be experienced in Python,
- be autonomous and have a proactive attitude.

It would be nice if you also had:
