For our production site located in Belgium in Neder-Over-Heembeek, we are currently looking for an **AR Accounting Specialist**. As an AR Accounting Specialist at Catalent, you will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of our Production site, focusing on managing accounts receivable.

**The role**:

- **Accounts Receivable Management**: Oversee the full cycle of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
- ** Customer Invoicing**: Prepare and send customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- ** Collections**: Proactively follow up with customers on outstanding invoices, resolving issues and ensuring prompt payment.
- ** Account Reconciliations**: Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
- ** A/R Reporting**: Generate and analyse accounts receivable reports, providing insights into customer payment trends.
- ** Customer Relations**: Maintain positive relationships with customers, responding to inquiries and addressing payment concerns professionally.
- ** Aging Analysis**: Regularly review and analyse accounts receivable aging reports, taking appropriate actions to minimize outstanding balances.
- ** VAT Compliance**:Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, including the preparation and submission of VAT declarations in accordance with the legislation.
- ** A/P recording**: booking of invoices without PO, expense note.
- ** Cash Forecast**: Collaborate in the development of cash forecasting and contribute to effective financial planning.
- ** Ongoing Projects**: Actively participate in accounting projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
- ** Ad Hoc Tasks**: Address other ad hoc accounting tasks to support the finance team's requirements.
- **Education**: A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- ** Experience**: Prior experience in an accounts receivable or accounting department is highly preferred, demonstrating competence in financial operations.
- ** ERP Proficiency**: Familiarity with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is an advantage.
- ** Excel Mastery**: Good knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel.
- ** Language Skills**: Fluency in French with a good level of English, ensuring effective communication within the international organization.
- ** Personal Attributes**: Embracing a dynamic, rigorous, and autonomous approach to work. Adapting quickly to changing circumstances and possessing a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
