Our modern production site in Veurne has a capacity of about 2,5 million packets a day. We’re a leading plant when it comes to manufacturing processes and technologies with 8 production lines and a team of more than 500 employees. **Main purpose**:
As Supervisor Quality Systems you have to drive the implementation of the quality systems agenda and support operations to achieve the Quality Performance targets in the whole plant. This by performing below priorities:

- Lead and develop the team of quality technicians;
- Update and optimize the existing Quality Systems in the plant: IPS Quality Systems (Generic and Process Specific) and Legal requirements;
- Accountable for quality reporting and action planning at product quality performance;
- Point of contact with the SQA team for raw materials performance, issues and supplier requirements;
- Use expert knowledge to align systems and procedures overall production lines and departments;
- Support the line specific initiatives;
- Give support in New Product Development projects and plant investments.

**Accountabilities**:
1. Accountable for optimization and updating of the existing Quality Systems in the plant with a focus on the alignment of overall production lines and departments. Support operations to achieve quality performance targets in the whole plant:

- Gate keeper for all document control on product specs, raw material specs and quality systems.
- Keep track of quality KPI’s and analyse quality performance in order to improve the identified gaps : consumer complaints, weak link data, In Market tracking data, hold and release figures, packet weight control data, SOS audit results, centerlining data;
- Issue internal and external KPI reports on quality performance and programs;
- Support the quality team to setup corrective action plans for generic quality systems and IPS quality performance;
- Develop action plans for implementation of new requirements and execute;
- Identify training needs and deliver training to all relevant functions (operators and managers) as appropriate;
- Operate in close collaboration with Front Line Managers, Unit managers, Site experts, Food Safety manager, Sanitation Officer and Team Leader lab.

2. Accountable for optimization and updating of the existing Quality System on line specific issues (Good Manufacturing Practices, Auto-control Plan, FSSC22K) with focus on:

- Implementation of new/changed requirements of PepsiCo and legal requirements;
- Integration in the existing Quality System;
- Alignment on processes and procedures overall production line;
- Work in close cooperation with the food Safety Manager.

3. Be the Site expert for Quality Systems:

- Follow-up the PepsiCo requirements and legal requirements regarding product quality.

4. Accountable for raw material quality and food safety performance:

- Point of contact with Site Quality Assessment;
- Supplier performance through material issues databases and verification of approval status conform audit requirements.

5. Accountable to verify finished product and raw material compliance in close cooperation Veurne products and products WIP in 3 PL warehouses.

6. Accountable to give support in NPD projects and plant investments:

- Coordinate required internal support to R&D for in plant testing;
- Work closely together with R&D to establish specifications and quality control requirements;
- Participate in start-up of new products and plant commissionings.

7. Monitoring/guarding energy consumption and pass along/expand knowledge to/of Front Line Employees about efficient energy consumption.

8. Consult KPI scorecard energy on the production lines.
