Hsse Manager

An HSE Manager (Prevention Advisor) will be expected to lead on ensuring compliance with all aspects of both legal and regulatory health and safety measures within the Port of Zeebrugge advising both management, employees, third parties and visitors within the Port on preventative measures and activities; including the well being of all in Port in accordance with the 7 well-being domains of Belgian Law.

The role will lead on and facilitate risk assessments assisting and advising colleagues within the dynamic risk management system as well as supervising and implementing the global prevention and annual actions plans. Promoting a safe working environment including staying up to date with new working methods and techniques, will be an essential element of the role along with leading investigations into occupational accidents, incidents and high risk situation, formulating proposals for future reoccurrence/prevention. Tasks will include supervising the proper functioning of emergency facilities and plans, providing support and information in the event of any deviations.

Having a good command of both Dutch and English language is also important.
