**Beschrijving**
As an Investment Controller, you will be part of the Controlling & Corporate Finance department in charge of the financial control of recurring and transactional real estate operations. You will be assigned to the analysis and control of transactions within the framework of acquisition governance as well as to the follow-up of the operations of an investment portfolio.
- You will review and monitor investment transactions proposed by the business, including the following aspects
- You will review the investment memo's proposed by the Asset/Transactions Managers to ensure a complete and accurate presentation of the financial characteristics and risks related to the transaction;
- You will perform impact analyses of transactions on the financial and accounting performance (BGAAP and IFRS) of the group, in collaboration with the Accounting & Consolidation teams, and variance analyses with the investment budgets;
- You will ensure compliance with procedures and governance in the context of transactions;
- You will participate in the preparation of cash flow forecasts related to transactions;
- You will perform financial and accounting analysis related to internal company restructurings and related planning.
- You will support and monitor the forecasting/budgeting/financial planning processes of this investment portfolio;
- You will analyze variances between forecasts and actuals and provide appropriate feedback to the manager;
- You will perform ad hoc analyses to ensure proper monitoring of the performance of this investment portfolio.
**Profile**
- You have a master's degree with a financial orientation or equivalent through experience;
- You have a first experience of at least 5 years in a similar function or in external audit;
- Financial modeling skills;
- Knowledge of the real estate sector is an asset;
- You are fluent in French and Dutch and have a very good knowledge of English;
- You have a good knowledge of Belgian and international accounting principles (IFRS);
- You have a very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel; knowledge of SAP is a plus;
- Rigor, proactivity and autonomy;
- Team spirit, transparency;
- Flexibility, ability to move easily from one task to another;
- Good organizational skills (project management skills);
- Good communication skills, both written and oral;
- Excellent analytical skills to assess the economic and financial aspects of transactions and to highlight key points;
