**Job Mission and Key Accountabilities**
The Business Product Specialist Deposit and Credit participates in the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle for new or existing Deposit and Credit products offered by DB Belgium for private clients.
The role encompasses a broad set of activities required to get Deposits products and Credits products to market and to support it thereafter.
The Business Product Specialist:
❏ Participates in business case development and business analysis to identify how value is created, specific price points and analysis of market sizing / potential.
❏ Assists in gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements to define the product vision.
❏ Partakes in product strategy formulation to generate competitive advantage for clients and drive value creation.
❏ Conducts regular product reviews to resolve any obstacles and issues that may arise during a product’s lifecycle.
❏ Provides ongoing analysis of the product in the marketplace, articulates the needs of the market, reports competitor activity and plans development of future releases.
❏ Works to ensure the product supports the company’s overall strategy and meets legal and regulatory compliance.
❏ Participate actively to international calls with other DB entities with, amongst others, the purpose to share best practices and find synergies in term of Risk Management and business set-up.
❏ Prepare management presentations on the business (Risk committee, Credit risk Council, dedicated international forums) and monitor revenues. Support the elaboration of the Deposit and Credit Plan.
❏ Design, assist and coordinate the transformation of the Credit business within the Belgian franchise by developing new product features and exploring business synergies with other Deutsche Bank locations.
**Key Profile**
❏ Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the financial service industry in a similar role.
Experience in Credit business is a plus.
❏ Strong project management and analytical skills.
❏ Critical thinking and creative problem solving.
❏ Solid organizational and coordination skills.
❏ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with people across different departments (IT, Legal, Sales, Operations, etc..).
❏ High degree of independency, motivation and accountability.
❏ Thorough understanding of diverse banking business processes.
❏ Eager to learn. Open minded. Flexible mindset.
❏ Fluent in English, French and Dutch.
❏ Strong IT affinity (MS Office / VBA is a plus).
