For our subsidiary in Ghent - Blegium, we are recruting a **Quality Resident**

**Role Responsibilities**

The Quality Resident is the supplier's representative on the customer's site, or vice versa. He or she acts on behalf of the customer, is the customer's main contact and guarantees responsiveness in anticipating and resolving quality incidents. They are responsible for analysing parts with design anomalies, checking their conformity and proposing corrective action. They ensure that the quality requirements of the products delivered are met, and guarantee customer satisfaction.

**Main Missions**

Coordinate and manage compliance control actions defined with the customer or client

Check that product storage, handling and assembly practices comply with agreed documents and/or processes and/or specifications

Carry out initial analyses of non-conforming parts to identify the causes of possible design faults and propose the necessary corrective actions to the customer, and monitor the occurrence of faults to minimise the quality/financial impact

Supporting and monitoring the customer's production strategy, ensuring a permanent link and maintaining relations with the end customer

To report and communicate accurate and relevant information in a timely manner and to produce reports relating to the activity.

**Preferred Education & Experiences to fulfill role (essential & desirable)**

Proven experience in an engineering function within Automotive manufacturing

Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Dutch, English)

Experience of IATF16949 and Quality Core Tools

Strong customer, internal and external, focus with an ability to communicate at all levels of business

Analytical with excellent problem-solving skills

Good influencing and negotiation skills
