This is a unique opportunity to work directly with clients to shape public policymaking, and join an outstanding and committed multi-disciplinary team of experts.
You must have **at least three years** of experience in banking and finance law. At least two years of experience in the completeness and conformity assessment of national measures that transpose EU law is an added bonus.
**Key tasks will include the following**:
- Research and development of analytical reports on European law, especially (but not only) in the area of financial services legislation
- Managing/supporting the management of projects to budget while ensuring that deadline and quality objectives are met, and supporting the coordination of multi-disciplinary teams
- Development and drafting of proposals
- Liaison and meeting with clients to review and report project progress
**The key qualifications required for the position are**:
- At least a master’s degree in law from an EU university
- Good knowledge of EU legislation and/or strong exposure to the EU institutions
- Proven expertise in at least one EU country’s legislation
- An independent, self-starter personality with a commitment to quality
- Well-organised, practical-minded and able to prioritise a busy and varied workload
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word
- Clear, concise and accurate writing skills in English, including the ability to review and edit the work of others
- Knowledge of other EU languages is an asset.
