As a Junior Crewing Coordinator you are responsible for a couple of our vessels and their crew. You have excellent planning and organizational skills for this hectic and dynamic role. You are aware to deal with urgent requests, but also looking at long term solutions in order to get stable, competent and reliable crew compositions on board of the vessels. As you know, in case the planning changes or paperwork is not in line with requirements, the vessel will not be able to leave in time, and that should always be avoided.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the planning of the crew of our vessels within the legal boundaries and ISM (International Safety Management) procedures;
- Dedicated point of contact of the Fleet Manager, crew members & other internal stakeholders;
- Manage the correct Crew composition on board and the related crew costs in agreement with the Crew Manager;
- Assist and advise the training coordinator in order to ensure the crew members comply with STCW regulations, the Boskalis Training matrix and even with Project required trainings;
- You are more then just a Junior Crewing Coordinator: you care for the crew and their families;
- You are part of the fleet team and you take care for the management of our vessels;
- You make sure the crew has up to date certificates and that people actually arrive in the needed areas (planning their flights, organizing their visas and you deal with local agencies, etc).
**What do you need to be successful in this role**:
- A Bachelor’s degree or similar;
- At least half a year of relevant work experience;
- You have excellent planning and organizational skills and you have a strong sense for what is going on in the team, you are flexible and handling stressful situations is your second nature. You always think in terms of opportunities;
- You are a team player;
- You are fluent in English.

Your team: the team consists of 15 enthusiastic members spread over 2 locations; Papendrecht, The Netherlands and Antwerp, Belgium. Sharing knowledge and collaborating as one is the main goal within the Crewing team.
