Route Ship Manager

De Route Ship manager is verantwoordelijk voor het operationeel, nautisch en technisch beheer van de ro-ro (passagier-)schepen en operationeel beheer van charters in de North Sea. Ook is hij/zij verantwoordelijk voor het zeevarende dek & technisch personeel vallend onder P&O Ferries North Sea.
De Route Ship Manager is geregeld aan boord om op de hoogte te zijn van de huidige en toekomstige uitdagingen. Dit in combinatie met het contact met de visie van P&O Ferries zorgt voor een gedegen advisering, beoordeling en besluit om te zorgen dat de passagiers en trailers elke dag naar Engeland en Europa kunnen varen.
Met de technische maritieme achtergrond weet de Route Ship Manager de schepen Pride of Rotterdam, Pride of Hull en de Charterschepen op alle gebieden ondersteuning te bieden. Mede zal hij/zij ook audits en inspecties uitvoeren om te zorgen dat de schepen de verschillende regelgeving naleven.
**Verantwoordelijkheden**:
- Technische en maritieme ondersteuning bieden aan de verschillende schepen;
- Regelmatige inspecties uitvoeren om ervoor te zorgen dat de schepen worden onderhouden zoals vereist, en dat de nodige operationele en ondersteuning wordt gegeven aan elk schip;
- Samen met de crewing department zorg je voor een geschikte bemanning;
- Het onderhoudt van het schip. Vanwege de passagiers verwachten we hierin een hoog niveau;
- Het brandstof
- en energie-efficiëntieteam ondersteunen;
- Ervoor zorgen dat elk schip te allen tijde compliant is met de verschillende regelgevingen van de soort vlag, klasse en andere regelgevende instanties;
- Ervoor zorgen dat jaarlijkse budgetten tijdig worden opgesteld en gerealiseerd voor elk schip;
- Het voorbereiden en ondersteunen van de dock periodes;
- Het contact onderhouden met belanghebbende en deskundigen om de betrouwbaarheid van de route te garanderen.
**Onze ideale kandidaat**:
- Ervaring als Chief Engineer Officer (Hoofdwerktuigkundige).
- Ervaring in de Ro-Pax sector;
- Kennis en begrip van operationele maritieme kwesties;
- Je hebt ervaring om met een multidisciplinair team te werken;
- Het ontwikkelen, motiveren en beinvloeden van een team is voor jou geen uitdaging;
- Je hebt of had de Coc Chief Engineer Officer certificeringen;
- Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse
- en Engelse taal.
