Our client is a global organization whose goal it is to make people understand their Customers' products.
**Your responsibilities as IT Project Manager**:
- You lead the project team through all phases of the software development process;
- You define project scope and schedule with the focus on timely delivery of the project;
- You analyze and write user stories (in JIRA) based on requirements within the agreed project scope with the customer and technical feedback from the software engineering team;
- You organize and lead project status and working meetings, prepare project reports, manage risks and issues, correct deviations from plans and perform delivery planning for assigned projects;
- You identify proactively and help to resolve issues that impact achievements of commitments;
- You assist the team in development by holding them accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work and leveraging organization resources;
- You manage customer expectations for project deliverables through effective communication and a system of project governance;
- You define and manage a project management process with its ongoing process improvement initiatives;
- You ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project;
- You maintain a project repository of historical and current project information;
- You coordinate user-acceptance testing, go/no-go decisions between the development team and the customer;
- You prepare documentation and training to hand-over to the support team.
**The requested qualifications for this job include**:
- You have a Master's degree or you are equivalent through experience;
- You have a first experience in project management with knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices;
- You have a proven track record of successfully implementing software development projects using Agile methodologies;
- You have a balanced business/technical background;
- You have a sufficient level of technical background to provide credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex projects risks and issues;
- A project Management Certification is a plus;
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills;
- You have strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills;
- You have in-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs;
- You have proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met;
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
