**About the company**: Our client is a** leading force in tissue paper manufacturing**, supported by a dedicated team of over** 5,000 employees across Europe**. In Belgium and the Netherlands, they are **leader in their markets**. Their approach to innovation is both subtle and effective, underpinned by a **steadfast commitment to sustainability**.
**About the job**: As a **Category Manager**, reporting to the Head of Category Management, your primary focus will be on **analyzing market data and trends to optimize the performance of our client's brands**.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Developing and executing category strategies to drive sales and profitability.
- Collaborating closely with Key Account Managers to optimize product assortment, pricing, and availability.
- Participating in retailer meetings to build successful trade stories for the brands.
- Building and preparing monthly reporting for HQ in Italy.
- Planning and executing promotional campaigns to drive category sales and market share.
- You have relevant working experience in analyzing market data, consumer trends, and sales performance (knowledge of Nielsen Panels is a strong plus).
- You possess a good understanding of the FMCG industry and the retailer landscape in the Benelux market.
- You are comfortable effectively communicating category strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in French, Dutch, and English is required.
