Vacatureomschrijving

We are looking for a Senior Tax Officer to focus on (Belgian) corporate tax and transfer pricing compliance.

The role is based in Brussels, within our Global Headquarters.

**Reporting to the Group Tax Director, you will have the following responsibilities**:

- Supervising, securing and monitoring the tax compliance of the relevant Belgian group entities
- Monitor the mandatory tax obligations and ensure timely reporting (CIT, forms 281.50, tax prepayments, withholding tax forms ) of the corporate and local holding companies
- Preparing in combination with supervising/monitoring the BEPS compliance of the group
- Calculation of the financing cost surplus (tax EBITDA) of the group
- Calculation of the group contribution (tax consolidation) in Belgium
- Assistance of the Belgian HQ and Belgian subsidiaries with practical CIT and VAT questions
- Assistance with the year-end closing on group level: Interactions with the external auditor, review of tax provisions,
- Inform internally about new Belgian relevant CIT and VAT regulations
- Support with Belgian Tax Audits where needed (CIT and VAT)
- Support on any other tax advisory / tax planning matters depending on the needs (Belgian and international tax)

Functie-eisen
- Master degree (or equivalent through experience) in Economics, Business Administration or Accounting; An additional degree in Tax is a plus
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a tax environment (consulting firm and/or inhouse direct tax experience eventually in combination with accounting)
- Being up-to-date on direct tax regulations in Belgium and having a practical understanding of EU tax jurisdictions where needed
- Basic Belgian VAT knowledge
- Working knowledge of the different Belgian tax digital platforms (MyMinfin, Biztax )
- Good planning, organizational and coordinating skills
- Good communication skills & team spirit, ability to cooperate with people with a different cultural and/or professional background
- An independent self-starter, hands-on person, problem solver, analytical, comfortable taking ownership and understanding when to seek advice
- Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch, French and English
