**Robert Half** **Talent Solutions** is currently looking for a **Tax Reporting Specialist **for a permanent position based in Groot-Bijgaarden.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the **real estate sector**.

As **Tax Reporting Specialist **you will be **responsible** for:
***About your tax accounting responsibilities**:

- You provide relevant support to the reporting team under IFRS and under local GAAP for tax accounting purposes, including but not limited to accounting data collection, IFRS technical research, tax technical analysis and audit support;
- You collaborate with the accounting and finance teams for the preparation of IFRS and local GAAP financial statements;
- You coordinate with external advisors on tax accounting related matters and participate in tax accounting technical discussions with experts;
- You maintain records of tax payments;
- You collaborate with external auditor on quarterly reporting and on local GAAP financial statements;
- You prepare the conversion of management GAAP/local GAAP accounts into tax accounts;
- You strive for continual improvement of (tax) reporting process;
- You assist the tax team for tax accounting aspects of real estate, corporate acquisitions and tax projects.

**About your tax advisory responsibilities**:

- You participate in group tax projects.

**About the process and systems**:

- You contribute to systems, integration of new entities, maintenance of policies and procedures;
- You strive for continual improvement of tax processes;
- You contribute to the development of IT solutions (e.g. automation of tax calculations and reports, as well as tax ledgers).

**About the people**:

- You are a member of a centralized tax department for all tax matters and work within an experienced tax team;
- You collaborate with the other department staff on an ad hoc basis.

The required **profile** for the **Tax Reporting Specialist **position:

- You have a bachelor's degree in Economics or Law, preferably with tax specialization or similar through experience;
- You have at least two years of experience within a Big 4 tax team;
- IFRS reporting experience relating to tax is a must have;
- Solid tax law and accounting knowledge at a European level is an asset;
- Practical ERP experience (e.g. in HFM or JDE) is a plus;
- You have a very good or fluent knowledge of English. Any other European language skills are considered as a plus;
- Basic knowledge of Python is a strong asset;
- You have a desire for self-development and learning;
- You are a problem solver who identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyses information skillfully and develops alternative solutions;
- You are able to work well within deadlines;
- You are analytical and able to synthesize diverse information;
- You demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and your desire to work together makes you a much appreciated colleague.
