Do you have people-centricity in your blood and a passion for shaping global plant-based category and brand strategies based on human insights and powerful facts? If so, join our Global SIA team as the Global Head of Strategic Insights & Analytics Plant-based. This position is based in Belgium (Ghent), the home of our Global Plant-based business unit.
In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of all insight-related projects that drive our Global PB category and brand strategies. You will translate powerful insights into strategic business opportunities and act as a strategic business partner in various international forums, where you will challenge, disrupt, and influence our business and brand perspectives based on these insights.
**About the Role**: This role focuses on supporting the Global PB Strategy and Innovation teams, reporting to our Global Strategic Insights & Analytics Director Plant-based.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Business and Strategic Partner**:
- Influence and inspire global brand strategy based on integrated data sources and consumer understanding.
- Contribute to overall brand strategy development, from identifying white spaces and developing growth platforms to idea generation and product and communication development.
- Support global brand teams in nurturing in-market execution through market and competitor understanding and brand health monitoring.
- Act as a gatekeeper for strategic decisions by centering consumers and shoppers in our decision-making process.
- **People Centricity Guardian**:
- Passionately bring the consumer voice to the heart of the Plant-based strategy.
- Use insights into consumer and shopper responses to competitor mixes to drive competitive edge strategies and actions.
- Interpret consumer feedback and make clear recommendations to improve all elements of the mix.
- Connect the organization with consumers, shoppers, and other stakeholders, such as health and nutrition experts and baristas, through research studies and consumer knowledge sharing.
- **Co-Design and Manage Strategy & Insights Plan for Plant-based**:
- Lead research programs that build and sharpen marketing mix and strategies for brands.
- Diagnose business issues and opportunities, determining the most important research objectives and the best type of study to answer business needs.
- Ensure deliverables are insightful and address business problems, leading to actionable next steps.
- Draw on deep consumer understanding and integrated data sources to identify major new insights and make business recommendations.
- Shape and manage the annual Global S&I plan and budget.
- **Ensure SIA Execution Excellence**:
- Ensure strong governance of research quality, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Judge and recommend suitable research techniques and quality of stimulus material.
- Manage and engage the SIA community through global projects and embed the use of one language across countries.
- Challenge research vendors for high-quality deliverables and develop new tools and approaches that best meet business needs.
